Power Electronics and Drives Lab

OBJECTIVES:

• To provide hands on experience with power electronic converters and testing.

• SCR, TRIAC, MOSFET and IGBT Characteristics Trainer Module

• MOSFET based step up and step down choppers

• IGBT based single phase PWM inverter module

• IGBT based three phase PWM inverter module

• SCR &TRIAC based 1 phase AC controller along with lamp or rheostat load

• Cycloconverter kit with firing module

• To provide knowledge on analysis and design of control system along with basics of instrumentation.
