About the Department:
The Computer Science and Engineering department was established in the year 2012 with the intake of 60 seats. Students are also admitted under the lateral entry scheme. The department is approved by A I C T E, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
The CSE department has many strengths include its high faculty-to-student ratio, state of the art facilities, renowned faculty, strong focus on undergraduate education balanced with leading-edge research, and emphasis on leadership, service, and ethics.
One of the key factors of our department is our faculty. They are eminent with Industry, teaching and research experiences, committed and sincere about their career. Faculty and staff work together to develop future leaders in academia and industry, with excellent technical skills, strong characters, and life-long learning abilities
Students are imparted with training in cutting-edge technologies through Seminars, Workshops, and Guest Lectures alongside Technical Symposiums/paper contests, Co-Curricular and Extra-curricular activities through the technical associations of the department. Strong mentoring is provided by the faculty members to monitor the student’s progression and personality developments.
Many of the students were placed in reputed organizations like TCS, CTS, INFOSYS and ZOHO in challenging positions.
