Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering - About the department

       The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) was started in the year 2012 and offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. EEE Department is a recognized research centre under Anna University, Chennai for pursuing Ph. D / M.S Degree Programme (Full Time & Part Time) in the faculty of Electrical Engineering. The Department focuses on empowering the students in state of the art technologies and research in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Department provides industrial exposure to students by signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), In-plant training, Industrial Internship and Industrial Visits. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a broad field of Engineering with various specializations and career paths, including power generation, transmission and distribution, power electronics and drives, control and automation, renewable energy systems, electric vehicles and energy storage systems, electronic devices, linear and digital integrated circuits, embedded systems etc. State of the art experimental and computational facilities are available in the Department laboratories. The students acquire interpersonal and communication skills through students technical association activities and also exhibit their co-curricular and extra-curricular skills. The students from the department emerge as Excellent Professionals willing to serve the society through technology.
