STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
During 2024–2025, 52 final-year students from the 2021–2025 batch completed a 30-day internship at various Civil Engineering Industries registered under CREDAI at Madurai. This internship experience enhanced their technical skills, industry exposure, and career readiness.
CO-CURRICULAR & EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITY
Third Year Civil Engineering students, Vinoth kannan, Udhaya Prakash and his cricket team has won third medal in District Level Competitions for “THE CHIEF MINISTER’s TROPHY” held during September 2024 in Cricket Event.
GATE ASPIRANTS – 2025
Nine students from the final year have appeared for the GATE 2025, aiming for higher studies and opportunities in public sector undertakings PSUs.
TANCET 2025
Four students from the department, Naveen P, Ragul R, Akash A, Yogalakshmi from the final year appeared for the TANCET 2025 exam, aiming to pursue higher studies.
BE (HONOURS) STUDENTS – 2024–2025
Three Students from the 2022–2026 batch have qualified for the B.E (Honours) distinction for the academic year 2024–2025. Their achievements in academics, innovation projects, and certifications reflect their dedication and excellence.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
A total of 42 students and three faculty members have participated in an industrial visit on September 12th, 2024. The sites included the Madurai-Kochi Bridge Construction Site, a Batch Plant, a Prestressed Concrete Yard, and a Bore Log Technique demonstration area. Each location offered a unique learning opportunity, enhancing our understanding of modern engineering practices and their application in real-world scenarios.
