CSE STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS 2025–2026
CSE department has consistently encouraged academic excellence, and this year, we are delighted to announce that three of our students have successfully cleared the GATE 2026 examination. Dharshini S from final year secured a score of 350, Gayathri from final year scored 297, and Akash V from third year achieved a score of 331. Their hard work and dedication truly set an inspiring example for all.
We also take pride in the accomplishments of our students beyond academics. In the Cybercrime Awareness Poster and Reel Competition conducted by the Tamil Nadu Cybercrime Wing, Yuvaraj S from fourth year secured third place at the state level and received a cash prize along with a certificate.
The Tamil Nadu State Minority Commission, Government of Tamil Nadu, conducted a one-day elocution competition in 2025 for college students belonging to Theni District. The competition was held on 13.03.2025 at Mary Matha College of Arts and Science, Periyakulam.
Anusha, from final-year, won first place in the Theni district-level speech competition organized by the Tamil Nadu government. Representing her district at the state level, she was honored by the Tamil Nadu State Minority Commission at Chennai's Kalaivanar Arangam in July 2025. She was among 234 students recognized and received a ₹20,000 cash prize.
As a model school alumnus, Yuvaneshwar S conducted a Career Guidance Program for over 1,500 12th-grade students in Tamil Nadu government schools. The initiative focused on higher education awareness and career opportunities, aiming to inspire students to shape their futures.
In the field of online learning, our final-year students Jeffisha S Darwin, Manimalar M, Shalini C, and Sudhasini P successfully completed NPTEL courses in emerging areas like IoT and Cloud Computing, showcasing their commitment to continuous learning.
Our final year students continue to secure promising careers in the tech industry.

Dharma Raj R from third year demonstrated career readiness by appearing for the Internship Common Aptitude Test (ICAT) on January 8, 2026. This initiative highlights commitment to professional development and securing early career opportunities.
Our second year students Nithyasri G, Subathra M, Tharanya A, and Yuwa Sri J completed courses in Artificial Intelligence in Industrial and Management Engineering. Additionally, Subathra M, Tharanya A, and Yuwa Sri J earned Elite certificates in Mobile Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Programming in Java.
A special highlight of this year is the outstanding performance of our second-year students at the National Level Technical Symposium held at Government College of Engineering, Srirangam. Seventeen students participated and won multiple prizes. A. Annapackiam and Tharanya A secured winner and runner-up positions in the Memory Matrix event, while S. Praveen Kanna won first prize in AI Lightning Image Generation. Adding to this achievement, our department proudly secured the overall championship trophy.
Our students have actively participated and excelled in various events such as Kalloori Kalai Thiruvizha 2025 and the Annual Sports Day, winning numerous prizes and bringing laurels to the department.

NPTEL Course Certifications
A total of 19 students from the pre-final year and 1 from the final year student successfully completed NPTEL certification courses during the academic year 2024–2025.
Student Internships
During 2024–2025, 48 final-year students from the 2021–2025 batch completed a 30-day internship at TVS Training and Service, Chennai. This hands-on experience enhanced their technical skills, industry exposure, and career readiness.
Co-Curricular Activity Prize Winners
A total of 10 students excelled in co-curricular activities across various institutions. Gayathri R, Yuvadharshini M, Rajasimman, Hemalatha G, Yuvaneshwar S, and Murugan V from the pre-final won first prizes in Universal Hunt and Quiz Spac at GCE Salem. Yuvaneshwar S and Sashikumaar S J from the pre-final year secured first prizes in the Space Day Quiz at GCE Bodi. Preethi S from the pre-final year earned second place in the Crypto & Secret event at Alagappa Chettiar.
GATE Aspirants – 2025
7 Students from the final year and 7 students from pre-final year have appeared for the GATE 2025, aiming for higher studies and opportunities in public sector undertakings PSUs.
TANCET 2025
3 Students from the department, Aasiya Mariyam Y , Susmitha PR & Nitheesh Kumar K from the final year appeared for the TANCET 2025 exam, aiming to pursue higher studies.
E (Honours) Students – 2024–2025
13 Students from the 2022–2026 batch have qualified for the B.E (Honours) distinction for the academic year 2024–2025. Their achievements in academics, innovation projects, and certifications reflect their dedication and excellence.
Learnathon 2024 Participation
A total of 45 students from II, III, and IV year actively participated in Learnathon 2024, completing 361 courses. Through this national-level initiative, they gained certifications and digital badges in cutting-edge technologies, showcasing their commitment to continuous learning.
MongoDB Training and Certification
A total of 102 students from the 2021–2025 and 2022–2026 batches successfully completed MongoDB training and hands-on projects.
CM Trophy – Prize Winners
Our students have made the department proud by winning CM Trophy award. Congratulations to Prasanna S and Wilson Ebanasar G from third year for their remarkable victory in Badminton – Doubles.
Honoured at Thiruvalluvar Vellivizha
Anika Bhavani V from the final year and Yuvaneshwar S from the pre-final year secured the 2nd prize (₹2500) in the District-Level Thiruvalluvar Reels Competition. The award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education during the 'Thiruvalluvar Vellivizha' organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
YouthTalk 2024 – Top 100 Finalists
Two of our students, Anusha V and Sharoth Jahan M, were selected among the Top 100 finalists in YouthTalk 2024. Their achievement reflects exceptional communication, critical thinking, and leadership potential.
Industrial Visit
A total of 38 students participated in an industrial visit on March 25th and 26th, 2025. The visit included a tour of the Radio Astronomy Center in Ooty and the Catch U Health Care solutions in Coimbatore.
