Department of Mechanical Engineering - About the Department
The department of mechanical engineering was started in the year 2012. The duration of the undergraduate programme is four years. The student intake of B.E. Mechanical Engineering is 60. The diploma candidates can join as lateral entry direct second-year in the four-year programme. The department is an Anna University recognized research centre to pursue Ph.D. degree. The department has 11 teaching faculty among 6 faculties with Ph.D. and 9 supporting staff members.

The Electronics Integrated & Simulation Lab trains students in designing, analyzing, and simulating analog and digital circuits using tools like SPICE and MATL

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in collaboration with ICT Academy, organized a week-long FDP on “Data Analytics using Python.” The program focused on enhancing faculty skills in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning. Around 20 faculty members (17 internal, 3 external) actively participated.
